As Atkins’ federal business unit as a vice president and senior division manager, Catherine Clinch is focused on leading large-scale projects for U.S. Department of Homeland Security clients and building client relationships. She brings 25 years of experience managing major, complex federal programs valued at over $150 million.
Clinch specializes in response planning and preparedness, program analysis and assessment, training, emergency management preparedness, homeland security, and environmental/hazardous materials response services, primarily for federal and other government clients, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Following hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Clinch played a key role in supporting FEMA, overseeing technical, programmatic, and operational support for FEMA’s Gulf Coast Recovery Office. She also led several large-scale Community Development Block Grant programs in New Jersey and New York City aimed at housing recovery after Hurricane Sandy.
Previously, Clinch was a vice president for URS in Germantown, Maryland. She serves on the board of directors of the Border Patrol Foundation, which provides resources to the families of fallen Border Patrol agents and supports U.S. border security awareness programs. Clinch earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Kent State University.
