DRCA’s mission is to improve the level of planning, communication, and coordination with Federal, State, and local governments to enable the private sector to play a larger role in helping America efficiently and effectively respond to and recover from natural or man-made disasters.

The Opportunity:

DRCA can provide your company with the opportunity to educate senior key officials on your capabilities and address operational and policy-related challenges impacting the industry on a National level.

Membership Representation:

DRCA represents its membership before Congress, the Administration and with the public to promote the positive impact companies make in helping communities respond and recover from disasters.

Programs and Events:

Roundtable discussions, policy briefings, panel discussions and Congressional testimony bringing together leaders from the public and private sector to advance leadership and best practices that improve America’s ability to respond to and recover from all disasters.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA):
FEMA Recovery Division:

Recovery's mission is to support communities in rebuilding so individuals, civic institutions, businesses, and governmental organizations can function on their own, return to normal life, and protect against future hazards.
FEMA Logistics/Operations Division:

Responsible for planning, managing and sustaining national logistics response and recovery operations in support of domestic emergencies.
FEMA Response Division:

The Response Directorate provides the core, coordinated Federal operational response capability needed to save & sustain lives & protect property following disasters.
FEMA Preparedness Division:

This Division leads the nation’s efforts to build and sustain collective capabilities to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to and recover from disasters.
Mitigation Division:

FIMA manages the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and a range of programs designed to reduce future losses to homes, businesses, schools, public buildings, and critical facilities from floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters.

State & Local Emergency Management Officials:
Meet with Senior State & local Emergency Management Officials across the country on a regular basis.
